Mr. Leal is preceded in death by his parents, Serafin and Juanita Leal; 5 brothers; 3 sisters.
He is survived by his loving wife of 52 years, Maria Irma Leal; sister, Gloria Leal; his children, Anna (Jimmy) Huerta, Marivel (Mario) Vazquez, Gerardo (Rosario) Leal, Serafin (Veronica) Leal, Noe (Melinda) Leal, Merida (Alberto) Hernandez and Norma Ramos; 18 grandchildren;8 great-grandchildren; several nephews and nieces.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, October 2, 2012 from 2pm – 10pm with a rosary at 7pm at Funeraria Del Angel Buena Vista.
A chapel service will be held on Wednesday, October 3, 2012 at 10am at Funeraria Del Angel Buena Vista with committal service to follow at Buena Vista Burial Park.
Serving as pallbearers will be Serafin Leal, Jimmy Huerta, Mario Vazquez, Juan Leal, Tony Huizar and Rolando Solis.

We would like to express our sincere condolences on the recent passing of your father. My family also send their thoughts and prayers to you and your family at this difficult time.
Although we saw your dad over the years, we came to realize his great kindness and compassion towards his friends and family. You were truly fortunate to have a man such as your father in your life.
As you know, it was not that long ago that our mother passed away, so we have some idea of what you and your family are going through. No comfort is quite enough to replace the loss.
