Fani SEGELSTEIN Obituary
A Holocaust survivor. With courage, on Saturday, September 27, 2014, in her ninetieth year. Beloved wife of the late Israel. Loving and devoted mother of Betty, and David. Adored "Ma" of Brahm and Sandra, and Jay. Proud great-grandmother of Ava, and Khloe. Dearest sister and sister-in-law of Rose and the late Eugene Lebovici, and predeceased by her five other siblings. She will be deeply missed and lovingly remembered by her nieces, nephews, family and friends. Special thanks to Alma for her devotion, to Kathy Macdonald for her kindness and compassion, and to the doctors, nurses and staff of the 4th floor at the Jewish General Hospital for their care. Funeral service from Paperman & Sons, 3888 Jean Talon St. W., on Monday, September 29 at 2 p.m. Burial at the Hungarian Hebrew Cemetery, de la Savane. Shiva at 5825 Eldridge Ave., C.S.L., from 2 to 9 p.m. Monday through Thursday evening. Contributions in her memory may be made to the Jewish General Hospital Foundation, (514) 340-8251.
