Feb. 17, 1932 - March 17, 2008

Faustino Ortiz, 76, was born on February 17, 1932 in Edinburg, Texas and died in Stockton, California on March 17, 2008. He moved to the Stockton area in the 1950's and worked in agriculture as a field worker for over 30 years.

He leaves behind his loving wife, Maria; sons: Cipriano, Javier, Jaime, Orlando, Armando, Arnaldo, Moises and Noe; daughters: Gloria, Olga; and 21 grandchildren, 5 great-grandchildren; brother Felix Ortiz; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Friends and family are invited to attend a Vigil Service at DeYoung Memorial Chapel at 601 N. California Street, Stockton on Thursday March 27, 2008 at 7:00 p.m. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at St. Linus Catholic Church at 2620 S. B Street, Stockton, on Friday, March 28th at 1:00 p.m. Visitation will be at DeYoung Memorial Chapel on Thursday, March 27, 2008 from 10:00 a.m. to 6 p.m. Committal will follow the mass at Cherokee Memorial Park at Hwy 99 and E. Harney Lane, Lodi, California.
