Fay Juanita Meyers

I just came across Fay's obituary and recognized her name and picture. I wondered who was responsible for the very nice article. My mother, Etta Miller, was a friend of Fay's. They were both members of Vernon Rebekah Lodge and of the FLClub. I remember mom saying that Fay used to serve - or bring - the most wonderful desserts for "the girls." I had no idea she had lived so long after Norman died. I do hope it continued to be a good life for her.

My dearest Mrs. Meyers was a very close friend full of wisdom, laughter and legendary stories of Tigard. It was always so enjoyable to visit her, which my friend Flor and I did two weeks ago. We brought her a pink snuggie. She thanked us profusely and she really looked warm and fuzzy with it.
May she rest and peace and once again enjoy the company of her beloved Norman. And I know she is looking after me. Thank you, Mrs. Meyers.
