Mrs. Faye Mixon Wildes

Mrs. Billie Faye Mixon Wildes, died Sunday, July 7, 2013 at Phoebe Putney Memorial Hospital. Her memorial service will be Wednesday 6 PM at The Refuge Church. Rev. Bobby Brooks will officiate. Born and raised in Albany, Mrs. Wildes was retired from Bell South after 30 years of service. She was a strong woman who enjoyed many things in life like shopping cooking, roses and putting everyone else first. Her greatest love was her family. She was preceded in death by her parents, Charlie and Ruby Mixon and a sister, Dianne Davis. Survivors include her husband Roy Wildes, daughter, Valerie Wilson, Albany, son Roy Wildes, Jr. Sylvester, granddaughters, Jessica Williams and husband Travis, Camden, NC, Jennifer Nelms and husband Brentt, Sylvester; great grandchildren, Chandler and Aubrie Williams, Madison Clements; brothers, Johnny Mixon and wife Sherry, Ft. Gaines, Ronnie Mixon and wife Carol, Warne, NC and longtime friend JoAnn Sibenborn.
