Faye Fong Yeasting

Faye Fong Yeasting September 27, 1930 - December 6, 2016 It is with deep sadness and broken hearts we announce the passing of our dear and beloved mother. Faye was born in Hong Kong and she lived there until her prince of a husband brought her to Canada in 1952. There is no perfect human being but Faye was as good and pure as a soul can be. Faye was kind, compassionate and always thought of others first. She smiled and laughed easily and was always quick to forgive. She was the best wife, mother, grandmother and friend anyone could be blessed with. Faye will be profoundly missed by her loving husband Ben, her children Dan, Susie (Bill), Eleanor (Ken), Ben Jr, Sam (Susan), Debbie (Jim) and her grandchildren Corey (Mila), Jordan (Stefanie), Ashton, Kelly, Tyler, Sabastian and by all who knew and loved her. Our only consolation for such a great loss is knowing Faye is now reunited with her father, mother and brother. Special thanks for the kindness and care provided by Vancouver General Hospital, Burnaby General Hospital, Baptist Housing and the South Community Health Centre. A private family gathering will be held and a 'Celebration of Life' will be held at a later date, time and place to be determined. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the BC Cancer Foundation or charity of your choice.
