Passed away tragically 7.11.16. Beloved husband of Carmela, loving father of Ella and Piera. Devoted son of Pietro and Irene, son-in-law of Nando and Mimma. Much loved brother of Maria and Frank, and Marco and Linda. Brother-in-law of Cathy and Tony (dec), Bart and Carla, and Carlo and Lana.
He will be very sadly missed.

Papa, we can't understand why this happened. The only answer is that we think you were protecting someone else from being taken because we know how caring and generous you are. We still had so many more things we wanted to do and share with you. Already our house is not the same. We will miss your beautiful face and the way you cared and made us laugh all the time. Fred, we fell in love with you from the moment you walked into our family. So giving, caring and loud, you would have anyone's back if you could. You loved so much to be involved with everything and making the wine and sausages every year was something you grew to master. It gave us such pleasure to watch you become a loving family man who would do anything for our daughter and granddaughters. We promise to keep the traditions going in your honour. Uncle Fred, to the most amazing uncle anyone could ever ask for, you were a man full of laughter, joy and kindness who would do anything for anyone. You would always make me laugh and even when someone was down you would always find a way to cheer them up. You watched me grow up and were always there for me, I will never forget all the wonderful memories we had together, I will cherish them forever. I will miss hearing your voice and talking to you on the phone almost everyday, but even though you are gone you will always be deep in my heart and I know you will be watching over us always, but the hardest part of all was not getting to say goodbye, I will miss you forever always. To this day I have never seen anyone ever make people smile and laugh like you do, total strangers would always instantly take a liking to you and your energy was so rare and wonderful..... It's a very sad day when the world loses a person like yourself as you were truly a special person that touched so many people's lives. Everyday was special and we had so many good times and I am grateful. I will miss you every day Fred and you have left a space in my heart that will never be filled but I will always smile when your presence and energy is felt. We still can't comprehend why you were taken away from us so tragically and so soon. Our world will never be the same without you Fred. Your love and kindness that you showed us and to hear you say that we were your favourite aunty and uncle meant everything to us, and you know we felt the same and always will. We will miss your visits, funny calls and everything about you. You are in our hearts and minds everyday and will never ever be forgotten.
