Felicia Michelle Paden

Felicia Michelle Paden passed away suddenly and unexpectedly on March 15, 2024, in Lake County California, at the age of 46. For the past nine years, she resided in Clearlake California, previously living in various other Northern California cities.

Felicia was born in Evanston, Illinois on September 7, 1977, to Earl and Cassandra Paden. She graduated high school in San Jose, California, later taking college coursework in accounting and business. Recently at Santa Rosa College, despite being declared legally blind, she was just a few credits shy of becoming among the first in the nation to receive a degreed certification in Hemp Agriculture.

Felicia's interests included academic studies in sustainability and native plant species propagation. She loved interacting with children and was a lifelong, passionate supporter of the Dallas Cowboys. Though she led a very reserved and private life, those who crossed her path benefited from her generosity, cheerfully innocent disposition and playful demeanor.

Felicia's interest in gardening can be traced back to her grandmothers, Mildred Crittenden and Barbra Jones-Morgan, whom in addition to her grandfathers Norris Crittenden, Ernest Paden and Wille Ernest Jones; three maternal and three paternal uncles and a step-brother preceded her in death. She is survived by her parents, a step-brother, an uncle, several aunts and many, many cousins.
