Mr. Felder died Saturday, June 10, at his residence after an illness. He was born in Clarendon County, the son of the late Willie Felder and the late Rosa Brunson Felder.
He attended Clarendon public schools and was a member of St. Luke AME Church. Mr. Felder was a farmer and a construction worker.
Survivors include his wife, Frances T. Felder of the home; daughters, Edith (Chancs) Simmon and Helen (Christopher) Burch, both of Johnsonville, Hattie (Dave) Brunson of Wilmington, N.C., and Jannie (Donald) Thomas of Kingsland, Ga.; sons, Robert Felder and Henry (Etta) Felder, both of Johnsonville, Felix (Peggy) Felder Jr. of Lake City, Billie (Theresa) Felder of Florence and the Rev. Jackie (Debroah) Felder of Pamplico; two sisters, Willie Mae Marion of Baltimore and Bennie Nesmith of Durham, N.C.; two sisters-in-law; three brothers-in-law; 19 grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.
The family will receive friends from 7 to 8 p.m. today at the funeral home.
