FRIEDMAN, Fella (nee Hefter)
A Holocaust survivor. It is with great sadness that we announce Fella's passing on Monday, March 30, 2015. Beloved wife of the late Harry (Chaim). Devoted mother of Bella Kotler (Mark), Shirlee Rosen (Gerry), and David Friedman (Gina). Cherished Bubby of Sherri, Lori, Jarred and Keren, Marcy, and Randi. Proud great-grandmother of Rose, Harrison, Madison, Noah, Jonathan, and Jace. Predeceased by her brothers; sister-in- law of Helen Hefter. Fella will be sadly missed by her nieces, nephews, relatives and friends. The family would like to thank the staff of the King David Residence, especially Rosemary Williams, as well as the staff of 6 North at the Jewish General Hospital for their care and kindness. Funeral service from Paperman & Sons, 3888 Jean-Talon St. W. on Thursday, April 2 at 11:00 a.m. Burial at the Beth Tikvah Congregation Section, Kehal Israel Cemetery, D.D.O. Shiva at 5840 Marc- Chagall, due to the festival of Passover shiva ends on Friday at 12:00 noon. Donations in her memory may be made to the Jewish General Hospital Foundation, (514) 340-8251.
