Ferrell Andrews Obituary
He was a graduate of Savannah High School – Class of 1957. He enjoyed farming, fishing, Braves baseball, and Nascar Racing. After graduating high school he worked for Seaboard Coastal Railroad as a switchman and also worked in the shop. He was sole proprietor of Andrew's Sunoco Station located at 3701 Ogeechee Rd between the years of 1965 to 1975.
He is preceded in death by his wife of 52 years, Ocoma Andrews and his brother Dwayne Andrews.
He is survived by a son, Ferrell B. Andrews, Jr., (Vicky) of Savannah, GA; a daughter, Cheryl Andrews Bland (Scott), of Savannah, GA; a sister, Gloria Sumner (Wayne) of Savannah, GA; a sister in law, Fran Andrews of Savannah, GA; 4 grandchildren, 5 great grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews.
Visitation: 6-8 p.m. Wednesday at Fairhaven Funeral Home & Crematory, 2794 W. US Highway 80, Garden City, GA 31408.
Funeral Services: 11 a.m. Thursday in the Chapel of the Fairhaven Funeral Home, with Rev. Jonathan Phillips, pastor of Silk Hope Baptist Church, officiating.
Interment: Hillcrest Abbey Memorial Park, 1600 Wheaton St., Savannah, GA 31404.

My sister and I grew up with the Andrews family we were just a few houses apart, sorry for his passing, lost another one of his generation, there aren't too many left in our neighborhood, i grew up with Dwayne we were good friends now the brothers are together again always Leila Bell and Marie Bell Lewis

Ferrell and Cheryl,
I admired and respected your dad and always will. He was always there if someone needed a hand or to teach you how to do something yourself. Sometimes words cannot truely convey or express how much someone will be missed or how deeply sorry we are for your loss.
