Fidele DAGENAIS Obituary
1934 - 2012
It is with great sadness that we announce the peaceful passing of Fidele Dagenais on Wednesday, July 18, 2012, in his 78th year. Beloved husband of the late Margaret (nee Bradley). Loving father of Deborah De Rouchie (Peter), Brenda Chayer (Vince), Sharon Dagenais (Jean), Beverley Lowe (late Jackie) and Barbara Dagenais. He will be greatly missed by his adoring grandchildren. Dear brother of Victor (Muriel), Claire Lavergne (late Gerry) and Jean Dupont (Mike). He leaves behind his best friend James Francis and family friend Sheila Seguin. The Dagenais family would like to thank Dr. Roy and her staff at the Civic Hospital, unit B 5, for their care and compassion. Friends may pay respects at the Kelly Funeral Home, 585 Somserset St. W. (Centretown), on Monday, July 23 after 10 a.m. The Memorial Service will follow in the Chapel at 11 a.m. In memoriam donations to the Ottawa Regional Cancer Foundation would be appreciated. www.kellyfh.ca

Dear Debbie, Breand and Sharon,
I was saddened to hear the passing of your dad "uncle Phil", I am so very sorry for your loss. I will always have good memories of him since I had the chance to go fishing with him and believe me even if the fish was'nt bitting he would keep us entertained with his stories. I will always the great smile just like my dad.

Thanks dad for waiting for me to come home to see your beautiful blue eyes and amazing smile one more time. We are grateful that you didn't suffer. During our visits, I could see the sadness in your eyes and it broke my heart. Even though you never told us you were missing mom, we could sense it. We never thought you would join mom this soon. We thought this would be the first year you would miss celebrating your anniversary with mom, but on Sunday you will celebrate your 51st anniversary with her. Tell mom we love and miss her and give her a kiss from all of us. I am going to miss our daily phone calls and our Friday night dinners with Brenda & Sheila. Thank you god for giving me this amazing man I am proud to call my dad. Love always and forever, Deborah xoxoxox.
