Flora Cross Bailey, 61, Starkville, Miss., died Oct. 10, 2003.She was born Nov. 4, 1941, in Franklin County, Ala., was a medical staff coordinator and a member of First United Methodist Church.Visitation was 5-7 p.m. Sunday, Oct. 12, 2003, at Starkville Funeral Home.The funeral was at 2 p.m. Monday, Oct. 13, 2003, at Starkville Funeral Home chapel. Officiating at the funeral was the Rev. Roger Puhr.Survivors include husband, Ernest E. Bailey, Starkville, Miss.; son, John Robert Cross, Starkville, Miss.; stepdaughters, Peggy Irene Ervin, Brewton, Ala., Donna Jo Robinson, Olive Branch, Miss., Deborah "Debbie" Jean Carswell, Harvest, Ala.; brothers, James Orvelle Jones, Birmingham, Ala., John Paul Jones, Gulf Breeze, Fla., George Washington Jones, Phil Campbell, Ala., Elmer Walker Jones, Lexington, Ky.; sister, Rosa Leola Gordon, Phil Campbell, Ala.; 10 grandchildren and three great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her mother, Martha Angeline Tyra; father, John Oliver Jones; husband, Robert Jackson Cross; brother, Robert Hoyt Jones; half sister, Mascie Swenie; three half brothers, William Jones, Leondus Jones and Duel Jones.In lieu of flowers, please send memorials to the American Heart Association or the American Diabetes Association.

I remember going to my grandmother house playing with toys plus looking at her crystals on the display and hearing her tell stories when my dad was child or going thru VHS picking out a movie.
