Flora Cross Bailey, 61, Starkville, Miss., died Oct. 10, 2003.She was born Nov. 4, 1941, in Franklin County, Ala., was a medical staff coordinator and a member of First United Methodist Church.Visitation was 5-7 p.m. Sunday, Oct. 12, 2003, at Starkville Funeral Home.The funeral was at 2 p.m. Monday, Oct. 13, 2003, at Starkville Funeral Home chapel. Officiating at the funeral was the Rev. Roger Puhr.Survivors include husband, Ernest E. Bailey, Starkville, Miss.; son, John Robert Cross, Starkville, Miss.; stepdaughters, Peggy Irene Ervin, Brewton, Ala., Donna Jo Robinson, Olive Branch, Miss., Deborah "Debbie" Jean Carswell, Harvest, Ala.; brothers, James Orvelle Jones, Birmingham, Ala., John Paul Jones, Gulf Breeze, Fla., George Washington Jones, Phil Campbell, Ala., Elmer Walker Jones, Lexington, Ky.; sister, Rosa Leola Gordon, Phil Campbell, Ala.; 10 grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
