Flo came into my life in 2005 when I started to work at Healthsouth Rehab (Encompass Health) as a RNT/ LNA. She was the evening 3-11pm nursing supervisor, and after a bit I became the unit Secretary and worked closely with Flo. She taught me so much, how to transcribe doctors orders, especially medications accurately, ask questions-don't just assume, be compassionate and have fun. I loved talking to her about her family and her dog. She loves them all so much. I talked to her about my family and when needed advice, I didn't hesitate to ask her which she always gave. She was a excellent nurse and supervisor, but her passion was teaching and that is what she did when she with us at Healthsouth and when she left. She came back several times to see me and others at work. People come and go in our lives and some will leave a mark and Flo left a mark in mine. I will miss her. She left me a voice mail and her last words to me where "I love you", well, I love you more. Rest in Peace.
