George Benson
December 7, 2023
Florence was my classmate from 2nd grade @ Hazel AV grade school through our 1957 graduation from WOHS. What I remember best about her is that she was very athletic. In childhood she could run faster than most boys, and later on she could hit a softball as well as most boys while retaining her ladylike demeanor.
I also recall her friendliness to all; and I am saddened to learn of her passing in extending my condolences to her family.
