Florence E. Pietruch, 92, of Lansford, passed away on Sunday, May 27, 2018, at the Lehigh Valley Hospital, Muhlenberg Campus. She was the wife of the late Joseph Pietruch, who passed away in 1988.
Born in Summit Hill, she was a daughter of the late Joseph and Kathryn (Jackovic) Porambo.
She worked for the former Lansford Fashions and last for Wood Company at Day Times in Allentown.
Florence was a member of the former Ss. Peter & Paul Roman Catholic Church in Lansford and was a current member of St. Joseph Parish of the Panther Valley in Summit Hill.
Surviving are a son, Larry Pietruch, and his wife Terry, of Reading; a daughter, Carol Pietruch of Allentown; grandchildren, Jess Pietruch and Brian Pietruch; sister-in-law, Florence Pietruch; brother-in-law, Thomas White; several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by a brother, Joseph Porambo; and sisters, Marie DeMarinis, Anna White and Sophie McCullough.
