Florence Ann Radcliffe Naples, FL
Florence Ann Radcliffe (von Brook), passed away on December 22, 2009. Born February 2, 1918 in Brooklyn, NY, she grew up in Oceanside, Long Island. She graduated from Oceanside High School in Oceanside, NY, attended business school and worked as a secretary in Manhattan for several years where she met and married Earl C. Radcliffe on December 7, 1941. Earl was CPO in the U.S. Navy. They lived in Baldwin, L.I., New York until 1984 and then in Valley, NE until 1984.
They retired to Ormond Beach, FL until they retired to Naples, where they purchased a home at Arbor Trace.
Earl passed away in 2002, and Florence remained at Arbor Trace.
She is survived by two sons, Steven of Owensboro KY and his spouse Mary, and Jeffrey of Omaha, NE. She is also survived by a beloved niece, Virginia Heitman and her family, who have watched over her since the death of her husband.
Florence celebrated her 90th birthday on February 1, 2008 with a party in the Arbor Trace Colonade Room.
