Florence Rago Obituary
Florence Feola Rago, age 85, of Trumbull, beloved wife of Anthony Rago, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, September 11, 2013 at her residence surrounded by her loving family. Born in Bridgeport on March 28, 1928, she was a daughter of the late Benjamin and Marguerite DeCesare Feola. Along with her husband, Mrs. Rago owned and operated the Fairlawn Beauty Salon of Stamford for many years and retired from The Escape Salon of Darien. A devoted parishioner of St. Theresa Church in Trumbull, she was a dedicated wife, mother and grandmother who will be sadly missed. In addition to Anthony, her beloved husband of 64 years, survivors include three loving children, Dr. Thomas Rago of Easton, James Rago of Wallingford and Donna Quinzi and her husband Michael of Rochester, NY, eight grandchildren, Alyssa, Matthew, Christopher, Jason and Allison Rago and David, Brianna and Steven Quinzi, brother, Robert Ulatowski, former daughters-in-law, Karen Luchetti and Sherry Rago and several nieces and nephews. She was pre-deceased by two brothers, Benjamin and Peter Feola and a sister, Maria Dickshinski. Funeral services will take place on Saturday, September 14, 2013 at 8:00 a.m. in the Abriola Parkview Funeral Home, 419 White Plains Road, Trumbull, and at 9:00 a.m. in St. Theresa Church Trumbull for a Mass of Christian Burial. Interment will follow in the Gate of Heaven Cemetery, Trumbull. Relatives and friends may greet the family on Friday from 4-8 p.m. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Vitas Hospice, 99 Hawley Lane, Suite 1204, Stratford, CT 06614. As I was picking pictures to display at the wake, I remembered just how beautiful you were, inside and out. You were always so full of energy and youthfulness. The past 2 years have been a struggle for you as you dealt with the effects of Parkinson's disease. I love you and will continue to live my life as you lived yours....Your daughter, Donna

Donna and family,
