To the family of Flossie:
We have lost a very special person. I have fond memories of working with Floss at the Fairview detox many years back. We laughed and cried with our patients. She went that extra mile for them. Now she is on her best journey of all, straight to heaven even with many patients telling us to "go to hell". That was all part of our history together at detox. She rolled with it like the professional she was. Heaven is a much happier place with her in it!!! I have a feeling she is likely doing an intervention at this very moment!!
I was so blessed to have had her in my life. Along with thousands of others that she touched. I know her family feels blessed as well, how could you not?? Thank you for sharing your mom.

Dear Wendy, Todd, Mark and family,
I received terrible news from Diane (sister) tonight that your mom (Floss) passed away this past week. I am so sorry and feel horrible that I couldn't have been at the memorial service. Had I known, I would certainly have been there to honor Floss and support you during your grieving. Please be assured that you are all in my thoughts and prayers. May you be comforted by the hope and the promise of the resurrection and the wonderful memories you had with her and her demonstrative "fruits of the spirit". She was truly a "celebration of life". My memories of her are many and varied especially while Wendy and I were growing up as childhood friends. Those times were awesome. My most recent memories are when I came home for leave from the Air Force in the late 80's and early 90's, I would contact Bud and Floss and they would invite me over to their home for a visit while we opened up our hearts to one another. The Worner and Larson families were fortunate to have such wonderful parents and to have them as long as we did. Again, my deepest sympathies. More correspondence forthcoming.
Love in Christ,
Dave

Dear Wendy, Todd, Mark and Families:
We just gotten your message Mark about the passing of your lovely mother. We were on vacation since 7/23 and returned late last night. Mark went into the office a short time ago and received your message. I am heart broken that I was not in attendance at the Memorial Service today. Please know that my thoughts and prayers are with all of you during this difficult time. I know that losing both parents is life changing.
I have many fond memories of your Mom. One memory is eating lunch with you Mark at your house when we were very young. We had peanut butter sandwiches and grape pop in bottles while watching Casey Jones. We never had grape pop at my house! We were very lucky kids to have been raised by great parents in the wonderful neighborhood on Avon Drive.
I will try to contact you in the next few days Mark so that I can extend my personal condolences.
I will also be calling Dave and Dana.
Again, Mark and I and the girls send our deepest sympathies to all of you.

Bob and I are deeply saddened to hear of Flossie's death. She was a special and treasured friend and we will miss her. We met both her and Bud many years ago, and came to love and respect both of them. Flossie's sense of humor was her greatest gift and she shared it with all the people she met. We are not able to get to her funeral service as we are in New England at the moment, but we send heartfelt sympathy to all of the family. June and Bob Pickering

Flo will be missed by the West Hennepin County Chapter of Thrivent Financial for Lutherans where she served. She brought energy, action, and humor to the board as she volunteered to help us accomplish our goals.
I only knew Florence through involvement from the past few years but enjoyed her company and dedication to serve. She will be missed.
