Florence F. Yarbrough

Florence Fluella Yarbrough, 84, of Red Bay, Ala., died Jan. 29, 2003, at her residence.Visitation will be 6-9 p.m. Thursday, Jan. 30, and until service time Friday at Deaton Funeral Home, Red Bay. The funeral will be at 1 p.m. Friday, Jan. 31, 2003, at Deaton Funeral Home chapel, with Brother Dustin Smith officiating. Burial will be in Halltown Cemetery.She was a native of Alabama and a homemaker. Mrs. Yarbrough was a member of New Union Missionary Baptist Church for more than 70 years. She was preceded in death by her husband, Elmer Yarbrough, in 1975; and great-grandchild, Elias Yarbrough.Survivors include three daughters, Jo Ann Smith and husband, Willie Smith, Belmont, Miss., Deloris Pilgrim and husband, Clarence Pilgrim, Russellville, Ala., and Rita Bohannon, Halltown, Ala.; two sons, LeRoy Yarbrough and wife, Rachel Yarbrough, Winthrop Harbor, Ill., and Jim Yarbrough and wife, Mary Yarbrough, Sheffield, Ala.; 13 grandchildren and 21 great-grandchildren.Pallbearers will include Ottis Boyd, Phillip Boyd, Don Boyd, Mike Boyd, Roger Boyd and Jerry Hagood.Deaton Funeral Home, Red Bay, is directing.
