Florentina Ramirez Obituary
Born in Jalisco, Mexico, March 11 1920, a daughter of the late Cruz and Celsa (Avlos) Guerrero. Florentina is survived by 3 sons Ron Ramirez of Fleetwood, Ruben S Ramirez of TX, and Victor A Rivera of WA. 2 daughters Patricia M Vasquez of TX, and Loretta I Gill of Fleetwood. 3 sisters Frances Guzman, Carmen Amador, and Martina Valdez. 10 grandchildren. Many great grandchildren and many great greatgrandchildren. She was predeceased by brothers Manuel Guerrero, Joseph Guerrero, Alex Guerrero, and Raymond Duran.
Services will be Saturday January 14, 2012, 1 pm in the Rainbow Chapel at Rose Hills Mortuary and Memorial Park. Burial to follow in the park. A viewing will be Friday January 13 2012 from 7-830 pm in the funeral home. Theo C. Auman Funeral Home is in charge of local arrangements. www.theocauman.com.

Aunt Flora made a lovely wedding cake for me 47 years ago. When she was in her forty's, she went to Rio Hondo College, and became an LVN. This proved to be an influence, when I made a decision to go to Rio Hondo College in my later years. In Flora's memoirs she wrote of her excepting Jesus Christ...

Our thoughts and prayers are with all of Aunt Flora's children, grandchildren and great grandchildren. She lived a long, active and faith filled life. She was blessed with a caring family and friends. Thanks and blessings on all who cared for her especially in her last illness.

FLORA RAMIREZ WAS VERY CREATIVE, SHE LOVED TO COOK AND ENTERTAIN, WORK ON HER GARDEN. SHE MADE BEAUTIFUL QUILTS FOR PEOPLE AND SHE DECORATED CAKES AND EMBROIDERED TEA TOWELS AND SHEETS. SHE WILL BE GREATLY MISSED. YOUR SISTER.
