Floyd Bricker Obituary
SPRINGFIELD - Floyd T. "Pete" Bricker, 44 of Springfield, passed away on July 29, 2010 at St. John's Hospital in Springfield.
Pete was born on May 29, 1966 in Springfield to Gilford and Anna J. Widner Bricker.
He was preceded in death by his parents, son, Eric Bricker, and brother-in-law, Steven Parrish.
Pete is survived by his wife, Theresa Harris Bricker; sons, Petie Bricker, Kyle Bricker, Steven Bricker and daughter Amber Bricker, all of Springfield.
Step children Randy Perugino Tara Perugino Jamie Perugino and Dennis Waldrop.
Stepgrandchild Kayden Brown and Step Niece Ashley Rooker, all of Springfield.
Sisters, Nora Parrish, of Springfield and Juanita Weller of Winter Haven, Fl. Brothers, Jerry Chronister (Deb) of Taylorville, and John Bricker (Celeste), Springfield Nephew Michael Rosenberg (Taya) of Winter Haven, Fl. and Several other nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Pete attended Sacred Heart Grade School and Springfield High. He was a longtime Employee of NAPA and Wilhoit's Garage.
Pete was a loving husband and father. He enjoyed family time, working on cars and motorcycles.
Cremation has been accorded. Family will receive friends at 5-7 P.M. Thurs., Aug. 5, 2010, at Bisch Funeral Home.

It is with sadness that I read this obituary. The loss of a relative is always sad. Unfortunately, I never had the opportunity to meet Pete. He was my uncle, although younger than I. I hope that this brings other family closer. My wife, our four sons and I offer condolences and prayers for all of the friends and other family of Uncle Pete.

sorry for ur loss nora I can remember when me and pete use go to central Iron and metal with dad and we were n hog heaven lookn for bicycle parts when we were kids we could build some of the strangest bikes anyone could ever see

My thoughts and prayers are with all of you. Pete was a joy to take care of through his long journey. I always looked forward to seeing him. He was always there with a joke or a way to make me laugh on a bad day at work. He will definatly go down in my book as my favorite patient. He was well loved up here and even though they tell us not to get too close to our patients well, when have you ever known me to follow the rules.
