Floyd George Obituary

George, Floyd, born December 22, 1923 in Jamestown, KY to Maude and Homer George, being the fourth of six children. He knew the struggles of being raised in a large family during the Great Depression. Floyd came to Washington in 1947, learning the logging industry under Adams & Belcher. He and Shirley Childers were married in 1951.
His children, Mary Lobb, Loren George, Wanda (Bob) Nelson and Lloyd George, sister Olive Brock and his wife Shirley survive Floyd's passing into heaven. Floyd rested in Jesus Christ as his Savior and Lord. He died at his home in Mossyrock on September 2, 2009.
A graveside service will be held at Doss Cemetery in Mossyrock, WA on September 9, 2009 at 3 pm. In lieu of flowers, please make a memorial contribution in Floyd's name to F.M.I, care of Mayfield Berean Baptist Church, P.O. Box 55, Silvercreek WA, 98585. Arrangements are under the care of Brown Mortuary Service, Chehalis, WA.
