Brother Floyd, I'm thinking about you today and missing you. You had a huge impact on every one who knew you, and your celebration of life was a testiment to who you were, what you represented, and how you navigated your time on this earth. We laughed, cried, and reminisced about all the memories of you while surrounded by family and friends just as you wanted. You will always be remebered and in our hearts forever. Say hello to Mom, Bobby, and Steve and enjoy your love for music on the eternal heavenly stage.

My Mom made this vest for Floyd. She was grateful for music he played for her and our family at my folks 50th anniversary.... RedRiver Valley etc... He wrote a beautiful song about her. Floyd was a Brother to me. Both of us coming from very similar backgrounds of hard working people and Mothers of Catholic backgrounds with lots of siblings. When his Dad got sick I brought them venison stew. We cried a few times and honored each other thru hard times and celebrated a lot more good times! Especially his Son, Lonnie. What a great Dad! What a legend my Brother Floyd remains forever in my Heart. He prayed me thru my breast cancer and I prayed like crazy for him. He is playing his music and kindness with Angels and I will love my Brother Floyd forever
