Ford went to meet his Lord at home with his wife by his side early Sunday moring January 31, 2021. Departing before him were his parents Roberta (Leppen) and Ford Granger. His brother David, three of Ford’s children; Tammy Sue, Ford Robert, and Krisstina Lee Ann Granger; step-son Bill Oliver, Jr; granddaughter, Shaylee Gail Mari Granger. He leaves behind his wife of 6 years Margo; son, Jeff (Laticia) Granger daughter, Everna (Don) Gray; daughter-in-law, Jennifer Clark; step-children, Susan (Brian) Lancour, David (Missy) Oliver, Christie (Bob) Mularz, Katie (Todd) Flamm; several grand and great-grandchildren. He also left a cousin Marty Wibindato; nephew, Marty Granger and many Leppen relatives. Ford took a lot of pride in his yard, he had beautiful flowers and always had extra tomatoes and cukes from his garden. He loved his church and considered his pastor one of his friends. Ford enjoyed bowling on his senior league. He and his wife liked to go to Scotts and listen to the music and dance. He loved his rescue dog Hodgie. He treasured the time he had to spend with his son, bowling, target practicing and sneaking off to eat ice cream. Ford’s most prized possession was his big black decked out Ford truck, he washed and waxed it most every week, it was the one with the wolves in the back window. He could be seen driving around Parchment wearing his black cowboy hat.
There will be a graveside service and a celebration of life later this spring. Now there will be a small memorial service at Temple Baptist Church on Mt. Olivet Road on March 5, 2021 at 4 pm. Donations may be made to either the church or West Michigan Cancer Center.

I am so sorry for your loss. Ford was a very nice man. We were lucky to have him as neighbor for the last several years. I will miss visiting with him, seeing him working in the yard & watching him blow snow in his shorts & slippers.

So many great memories! Ford was such a strength for me and my daughter in our years together. A fine man, with a clear faith, gentle and loving.
