FORREST FAUT Obituary

Published by Legacy Remembers on Dec. 15, 2012.
Forrest F Faut Jr. passed away quietly the morning of December 14, 2012. He is survived by his wife Margaret Faut, his son Larry Faut and his granddaughter Kelsey Faut. Forrest was a quiet and very loving man who cared deeply about his family. He resided with his wife Margaret in Sun City Arizona. Services will be held December 21, 2012 at Sunland Mortuary, 15826 Del Webb Blvd, Sun City Arizona. Services begin at 1:30 pm with a reception to be held immediately following.

Forrest was a true patriot to his country, having served in the Army Air Corps, the US Army and National Guard. Forrest's tenor in WWII was in the pacific campaign.

Forrest was married to Audrey May after the war and raised two children, Peggy Lynn and Larry David Faut. They were long time residents of Arvada Colorado were he opened an accounting practice. He was active in the community with the Lyons Club, Elks Club and the Masons. Forrest loved to write and had a fixation with stamps that resulted in an extensive stamp collection. He was self taught in the accordion and saxophone.

Upon making the decision to retire, Forrest sold his practice and move with his wife to Canon City Colorado. Not being the type of man who could remain idle too long, he acquired a local accounting practice in Canon City.

With his wife's health becoming an increasing factor, the decision was made to move to Sun City where they became year round residents. After the death of Audrey in1994, Forrest met and married Margaret. Forrest and Margaret remained active Sun City residents until his death December 14th.
