NACAWA, Fortunee (nee Sakal). Peacefully, on Sunday, September 12, 2004 in her ninety-ninth year. Wife of the late Clement Nacawa. Much loved mother and mother-in-law of Allegra and the late Mayer Levy, David, Albert and Mary, Magda and the late Moise Nacawa. Cherished "Nona" of Claire and David Freedman, Ruth Levy, Rami and Tara Negev, Myrna and Clark Brenhouse, Lydia Nacawa, Andre and Stephanie Nacawa, Deborah Nacawa, Dario and Simona Nacawa. Great-grandmother of Sarah and Joshua Freedman, Maor Levy, Ethan Negev, Mason Brenhouse, Aaron Nacawa, Samuel Nacawa. Dear sister of Rosa Bercovitch, the late Mathilda Mosseri, the late Isaak Sakal, the late Celine Eskinazy, the late Beba Pado, the late Eva Pardo. Funeral service from Paperman & Sons, 3888 Jean Talon St. West, on Monday, September 13 at 2:30 p.m. Burial at Spanish and Portuguese Congregation Cemetery, Mount Royal Boulevard. Shiva private.
