Frances S. Conger

Frances Conger, 17, a long time resident of Southern California, was born in Los Angeles, California on January 25, 1990 and passed away in Norwalk, California on August 25, 2007. She was a senior in Downey High School, active in both water polo and the swimming team. From the age six, Frances was swimming for the Los Angeles County ORCA swim team, she was also a cheerleader for the South Gate Rams and a junior life guard at Venice Beach, California. Frances is survived by her loving family, mother, Sandra Vega of Downey, California, grandmother, Maria Elena Alfaro of Downey, California, and aunt, Patricia Vega of Rancho Cucamonga, California. A Vigil Service will be held on Thursday, August 30, 2007 at 7:00 pm at Downey Chapel, Downey, California. The Chapel is located on 2nd Street, one block east of Downey Ave. The Funeral Mass will be held on Friday, August 30, 2007 at 10:30 am at St. Helen Catholic Church, South Gate, California. The church is at 3170 Firestone Blvd. in the city of South Gate, California, with interment following at Rose Hills Memorial Park, Whittier, California.
