Frances E. Hall ( Waitt),affectionately known by many as Franny, Fran, or Meme, passed away on July 30, 2024, at the age of 95, in Peabody, Massachusetts. Born on April 26, 1929, in Woburn, Massachusetts, Frances led a life marked by kindness, care, and a gentle demeanor.

Frances graduated from Lynn English High School in 1947 and continued her education at Chandler Secretarial School in Boston, graduating in 1949. She dedicated many years to her career as an executive secretary before embracing the role of a homemaker, a testament to her nurturing nature.

A devout member of the West Church in Peabody and Old South United Methodist Church, Frances's faith was a cornerstone of her life, guiding her actions and interactions with those around her.

Her hobbies included reading, bird watching, playing games, and baking, all of which she loved sharing with her family. Frances was a cherished figure not only within her family but also in her community, where she was known for her sweet disposition and willingness to help others.

Frances was preceded in death by her son Kevin Hall, sister-in-law Karen Hall, and her parents, Ronald and Mary Waitt. She leaves behind her loving husband, Donald F. Hall; her daughter, Linda Hall Michalek; granddaughters, Lindsy Morrison (Daniel Morrison) and Jessica Michalek (John Simkus); great-grandchildren, Ollie and Stella Morrison; and numerous nieces, nephews, and close friends.

A service to celebrate Frances's life will be held on August 7, 2024, at 1:30 PM at the Chapel at Brooksby Village, 300 Brooksby Village Dr, Peabody, MA 01960.

In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the CCALS.org or www.caredimensions.org organizations that were close to her heart. Frances's legacy of compassion and dedication will continue to inspire those who knew her.
