Frances Kulisch Obituary

Mrs. Frances M. Kulisch, 90, of Quincy, died at 8:55 a.m. Wednesday (Jan. 25, 2012) at Blessing Hospital.

Born Oct. 10, 1921, in Louisiana, Mo., Frances was the daughter of Joshua and Nora Burbridge Sanford. She married Leonard Elmo Kulisch on Feb. 2, 1946, in Palmyra, Mo. He died on June 18, 1992.

Frances devoted her life to raising her family and helping on the family farm in Liberty. Frances was an accomplished artist who loved to paint.

Survivors include a son, Larry L. Kulisch (Jean) of Liberty; one grandchild, Tanangi O'Bannion of Quincy; two great-grandchildren, Ashley O'Bannion and Zachary Tyler O'Bannion, both of Quincy; many loving nieces and nephews; and a close cousin, Pauline Maxwell (John) of Quincy.

The last of her generation, Frances was preceded in death by her parents; her husband; three sisters, Grace Crim, Geneva Rone and Lucille Schmits; and a brother, William Rone.

SERVICES: 9 a.m. Saturday in St. James Lutheran Church by the Rev. Stephen Mueller. Burial will be in Xander Cemetery at Liberty.

VISITATION: 5 to 7 p.m. Friday in the Zehender Robinson Stormer Cookson Funeral Home in Quincy and Saturday from 8:30 a.m. until the time of services at St. James Lutheran Church.

MEMORIALS: Adams County Chapter of the American Red Cross.

ARRANGEMENTS: Zehender Robinson Stormer Cookson Funeral Home.
