YARMOUTHPORT — Frances L. (Taylor) Mann, 87, of Yarmouthport, formerly of Dover and Needham, died Tuesday, Nov. 6, 2007, at the Mary Ann Nursing Home in Natick.

She was the wife of the late Dr. Robert L. Mann, who died in 1983.

Born in Cambridge, she was the daughter of the late Chester L. and Emma J. (Guest) Taylor. She was a resident of Yarmouthport for 23 years and lived in Dover for 20 years, and previously lived in Needham.

Mrs. Mann worked in a variety of arts and crafts, and was a painter for many years. She played bridge, golfed, bowled, and enjoyed travel cruises.

She is survived by two daughters, Karen J. MacTavish of Dover, and Beverly T. Mulcahy and her husband, Douglas, of Lincoln; a son, Barry R. Mann and his wife, Jean, of Yigo, Guam; five grandchildren, David C. MacTavish Jr. and his wife, Donna, Paige B. MacTavish, Corynne Mulcahy, Tera Mann, and Tisha Mann; three great-grandchildren, Shawn M. MacTavish, Matthew J. MacTavish, and Megan A. MacTavish. She was also the sister of the late Chester L. Taylor Jr.

A memorial service will be announced at a later date. Private burial will be held at the Oak Grove Cemetery in Hyannis.

Donations may be made to a charity of one's choice.

Funeral arrangements are under the direction of the John Everett & Sons Funeral Home, 4 Park St., at Natick Common.
