Francesca V. Gorski

Francesca V. (Giordano) Gorski of Bristol passed away Thursday, (June 26, 2003) at CT Hospice in Branford. She was the widow of John M. Gorski. She was born in Utica, NY the daughter of the late Frank and Maria (Gaultieri) Giordano. Mrs. Gorski was a member of St. Anthony Church, the Osia Lodge #1826, Bristol Choral Society, Past member of Civic Theatre. She was an avid U-Conn Basketball fan. She was retired from Cigna Insurance in 1980 and retired from the Hartford in 1990. Mrs. Gorski worked as a Dental Assistant-Receptionist and as a Real Estate Agent. She is predeceased by a brother, James Giordano. She is survived by a son, Gregory Gorski and his wife, Maria of Bristol; a daughter, Julie Cashman and her husband, William of Guilford; three grandchildren, Hayley Cashman, Jonathon and James Gorski; several nieces and nephews. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Monday at 11 a.m. at St. Anthony Church. Friends may call at the Dunn Funeral Home, 191 West St., Bristol on Monday from 9- 10:30 a.m. Entombment will be in St. Joseph Mausoleum, Bristol. Donations can be made to CT Hospice Double Beach Rd.
