Nine years and I still have no words. Nine years of life; blessings, trials, love and triumphs- you already know all about it because you never truly left us; carried in the hearts of countless people who love you- Thank you for the gift of you (and that day on the summit of Mt. Whitney-...) ... "In my heart is where I keep you, friend. " - R.S.

Frankie,

Wow, it has been 5 years. Some days it doesn't seem like it has been that long and others it feels like you have been gone longer. Your light and love is carried in all our hearts everyday. You are the only one who was strong enough to be a guardian angle for us all. Thank you for the laughter, smiles and love. You are celebrated, remembered, and loved always.

Dear Lord:

Twenty-three years ago today, you blessed us with the gift of life: 11 pound, 11 ounce Francis Daniel Brohm. He enriched our lives in so many ways. Through him, we experienced the miracle of life, the innocence of childhood, the music of laughter, the warmth of love, and the comforts of your Spirit. On August 29, you called him home.

Dear Giver of Life, let your healing powers heal the pain of our loss. Thank you for the gift of Francis Daniel Brohm. In our time of sorrow, we sometimes forget what blessings you have bestowed on us. Help us to embrace each day with a true appreciation for the gifts that you have given us. And keep Frankie forever cloaked in the light of your presence. Amen.

Tonight Hector and I watched a beautiful Key West sunset and thought of Frankie's beautiful spirit. It is unbearable to think we will never see his sweet face again. We have to remember we are spiritual beings living a human experience, and Frankie was called by God for a different task. He will always be with us. All my love to the Brohms and Goodins and thank you to all of our wonderful friends for your kindness. Keep us in your prayers.

Our beloved Frankie

I am terribly sorry for your loss. You both have wonderful families, and I'm sure Frankie will be sorely missed. Even though we don't stay in touch, our families will always be connected through St. Bartholomew.
