Frank J. Kollar, 90, of Charlottesville made his heavenly voyage on February 11, 2014 He was an amazing and wonderful husband, father, and son. Frank was born December 22, 1923 in Phoenixville, PA to the late Victoria and Francis Kollar. He was predeceased by his three siblings, Rudy, Helen, and Margaret. He leaves his wife, Betty, his four sons and daughter to cherish his memory. They are: Frank and wife Jean, Kevin and wife Jean, Ted and wife Joyce, Charles and wife Dawn, Laura and partner Francesca. He also leaves twelve grandchildren and nineteen great-grandchildren. He is survived by his nephew, Frank Kollar and niece, Janice Abruzzese. He was loved by many and especially by Anne Kollar, Pat Kollar, and Aila Juvonen. Frank was especially adored by Josie, his beloved cat, who hugged and kissed him every day. Frank graduated from Phoenixville High School and the King's Point Merchant Marine Academy of Long Island during World War II. He retired at the age of 62 after working for Eastman Kodak Company as a Technical Sales Representative; He was very talented at making tables and cabinets for his family. He partnered with his wife in the "Writing for Pleasure" class at the Senior Center in Charlottesville, VA as well as played the clarinet in their "Second Wind Band." "Beloved husband, you have filled me with your love, your good humor, kindness, and loving care for 69 years. I have been truly blessed and hope to see you soon! Hugs & kisses darling."- Your wife, Betty A memorial service will be held at 1:00pm on Saturday, February 15, 2014 at Sojourners United Church of Christ, 1017 Elliott Ave. Charlottesville, VA. In lieu of flower, donations may be made in Frank's honor to The Haiti Mission Foundation, either online at wwww.thehaitimisson.org/donate/donate.html or sent directly to Gaynor Callis, Treasurer, The Haiti Mission Foundation, P.O.
