FALMOUTH - Francis W. Lipp, age 75, died Tuesday, April 17, 2007, at his home in Falmouth, after a long illness.

He was the husband of Elaine (Pimental) Lipp, to whom he was married for 53 years.

Born in Hollis, Long Island, N.Y., he was a graduate of Cathedral High School and American International College in Springfield. He served in the Air Force as a chaplain's assistant during the Korean War and spent a year in Tokyo, Japan. He moved to Falmouth in 1965.

Frank worked as a salesman for the Pennysaver in Falmouth for 25 years, retiring due to illness in 1989.

Besides his wife, he leaves four daughters, Mary Coffey and Maureen Alferes, both of Falmouth, Patricia Anne Lipp of Port St. Lucie, Fla., and Kathleen M. Laird of Sandwich; two sons, Robert F. Lipp of Longmeadow, and Michael M. Lipp of Framingham; two brothers, James Lipp of San Antonio, Texas, and Charles Lipp of East Longmeadow; 17 grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.

Visiting hours will be Friday, from 5 to 8 p.m., in the Chapman, Cole & Gleason Funeral Home, 475 Main St., Falmouth Center.

A funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10 a.m., on Saturday, April 21, at St. Patrick's Church, 511 Main St., Falmouth. Burial will follow in St. Joseph's Cemetery, Gifford Street, Falmouth.

Memorial donations may be made to St. Patrick's Church, Capital Fund, P.O. Box 569, Falmouth, MA 02541.
