I had the great privilege of serving as a Rifle Platoon Commander under then Capt. Quinn while serving with Marine Corps Test Unit-1 at Camp Horno, Camp Pendleton CA 1955-57. He was truly a Marine's Marine and a skilled leader of men. RIP Skipper.
