Francis "Frank" Carl Sproehlich, age 88 of Montello (formerly of Random Lake) passed away peacefully on Friday, September 5, 2025 at Aspirus Divine Savior Hospital in Portage with two of his daughters at his side. He was born on February 11, 1937 in Milwaukee to Joseph and Margaret (Strassburg) Sproehlich. Frank married to his first wife, Leona Trieder in 1955 and together they shared five daughters and later divorced. He married his second wife, Suzette Whitler in 1963 and together they had thirteen children. Frank was a dedicated and hard worker where he took great pride in his craftsmanship as a carpenter at the Milwaukee Public Museum. He retired from the museum at age 62 after many years of faithful employment.

Frank is survived by sixteen children: Bobo (Brian) Kueny, Lonnie Green, Bern (Keith) Beauchamp, Dawn Szynanski, Lori (Gary) Rosenthal, Julie (Russ) Blish, Tony (Beth), Shelly Young, Frank (Tiffany), Jenny (Brad) Rosenbaum, Maggie Landowski, Jacob (Desiree), Cindy (Kevin) Konitzer, Matthew (Ayla), Audrey Sproehlich and Gerald. He is also survived by numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Frank is preceded in death by his parents, wife of 58 years, Suzette, daughter, Mary, son, Joseph, sister, Mary Jane (Billy) Libby, brother, Tom and his first wife, Leona.

There will be no service.
