Francisco Avila Obituary
He had been diagnosed with Alzheimer's and also had heart problems. Francisco Avila was a hard worker, dedicated to his family and he enjoyed life to its fullest. He loved his friends and he always gave to the poor. He was an amazing father. He will be missed dearly.
He is survived by His wife Maria do Carmo Avila of Modesto, Son- Danilo F. Avila and his wife Amy of Ceres. 2 Daughters- Maria Elizabeth Avila and Filomena Avila Nault, both of Modesto, California, 2- Grandchildren Lucien Nault & Aidan Avila. Brothers- Jose Dimas Avila of Redlands, CA Jorge Avila of Corona Silverio Avila .Sisters- Analcina Elsasser of Yucca Valle, of Filomena Fagundes of Peham, NH, Maria Elizabeth Cote of Dracut MA.
Services: Visitation- 2:00 to 8:00 PM, Monday December 19, 2016 at Whitehurst-Norton-Dias Funeral Service, 286 West Main St., Turlock, California.
Vigil & Rosary-7:00 PM Monday December 19, 2016 at Whitehurst-Norton-Dias Funeral Service. Funeral Mass-12:00 PM, Tuesday December 20, 2016 at Sacred Heart Catholic Church, 1200 Lyons Ave., Turlock, California. Mr. Francisco Avila will be laid to repose at Turlock Memorial Park 575 N. Soderquist Rd., Turlock, California
Arrangements under the direction of Whitehurst-Norton-Dias Funeral Service (FD504), Turlock, CA.

To my family, Tio Francisco will be greatly miss. I will always remember him as a fun loving gentle man. We will miss him dearly. I have lots of fond memories of him. We want you know we are thinking of you all and wish we were closer to you. Hugs and kisses to you all. Rip Tio Francisco!

His family was always is pride. He always spoke with pride of your accomplishments. Stay strong He will get you through.
Maria do Carmo, Betinha, Mena, Andrew, Danilo, Amy, Lucien, Aidan. please know he is with his Pai and brothers Ezequiel and Carlos. He is in great company. Letting them all know what has been happening since they have left us. Please know that my heart is with you all. I love you all so very much.

Pai, I will miss you dearly. You were a strong, hard working man, with a fiery spirit and great sense of humor. I will miss all of your stories of Angola and life. Your children miss you terribly and it breaks my heart to know that you are gone.
To my husband Dan, and sisters Mena, Elizabeth and Mai... I love you all so very much and will be here always. Your father is flying with the angels now and in Gods presence.. probably sharing his stories now and what a wonderful family he has!

What a difficult time and experience, when all around you should be joy with your beautiful children. My love and prayers to all of you, needless to say...stay strong, love does conquer all.It brings back difficult memories for me. I experienced a very similar situation. All I can say, Is enjoy the time you have and make sure you live without regrets.
