Loved Mr Estevez. Had him for Civics and always enjoyed his stories. He often spoke of his up & coming actor brother, Martin.
He was definitely the coolest teacher ever with the best mustache!! We had a lot of laughs.

Prior to my senior year, I wanted to get Civics out of the way so I would have more choices in schedule. I had Mr.Estevez for summer school. It was hot, the hours were long, the topics were boring, but he had such great (life) stories and the class was actually enjoyable. Thanks for making summer school Civics fun:)

So sorry to hear of Mr. Estevez's passing. My Grandmother used to talk about babysitting "those Estevez boys" and my father was friends with Conrad. Frank Estevez had the misfortune of being my drivers education teacher at Fairmont West High. He told me that "he wasn't sure if he should laugh, cry, or jump out of the car when I drive." To his credit I passed my license test the first time and and to this day I always do head checks! He was a sweet and funny man. My best to the family.

I thought the world of ALL those guys, including Frank. What characters and just genuine, loving folks. May he rest now in peace with our God.

Today we lost a fantastic teacher and great man. He was the first teacher I had who encouraged discussions on differing viewpoints. As he was an admitted and proud liberal and I a republican, this gave me a since a worth and confidence that I truly appreciated. God Bless and welcome him openly in Heaven.

Mr. Estevez was my teacher & counselor back in 94/95 @ Fairmont High School. I truly feel I would of not made it through my senior year without him... Not only did he make us laugh on a daily basis with his silly facts and teaching styles, he made us better people. While I will not go into detail of my favorite memory, I will tell you this man taught my class compassion for others! He taught us humility period! While his beautiful soul & teachings live on, I am devastated his presence is no longer here. May God bless his family with love, joy and peace in the coming months & years. May his teachings live on and may his family know how many people he impacted in his lifetime! I truly hope I am passing down the same compassion you taught me to my children Mr. Estevez. .. we love you, God bless... and Thank You

Frank officiated my football games at fkal with Lou galiardi and Mr. Muson...then became my favorite teacher at Fairmont west high school. Frank taught us about real life situations and using common sense in the real world....the kind of things that books don't teach you and the kind of things that I can still hear him saying today that made an impact on me....RIP MR. My childhood memories of Allen School will always include Mr.Estevez. He's the man that taught me how to tie my shoes, bought my lunches a ton of times, when the teaches went on strike gave me donuts on my way to school and countless others. Thank you for being apart of my childhood, may you rest easy.

Cathy (Jones) Reynolds

June 11, 2015

Mr. Estevez was my high school guidance counselor at Fairmont. My favorite memory is he would place a fake $20 bill on the floor near the chair where a student would sit in his office. One day I came in and saw it. I said, "Oh, you must have dropped a twenty." He said, "Yeah, just leave it there. That's how I see who is honest." He said some students would step on it and then pretend to tie their shoe in an attempt to pick up the $20. Very clever! Today I am donating $20 to the American Heart Association in his memory.

What a wonderful and great man. I had him as a teacher at Fairmont West in 1983-1984. He will be missed by many. He taught me great ways to balance checkbooks and how to manage money. A practice I have carried with me my entire life. "Pay cash when you can, credit is only financing someone else's future"
