FRANCO ERNESTO PICA August 5, 1944 - October 14, 2014 It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Franco Ernesto Pica on Tuesday in his 71st year. After a long and courageous battle with cancer, Franco peacefully passed at home with his dedicated, loving wife of 47 years, Marcella and his devoted daughters Marla (Roberto Iosue), Romina (Mark Zizzo) and Tanya (Jim Saleh) by his side. Franco also leaves behind 7 dear grandchildren Monique, Marcella, Lucas, Alessia, Andreas, Julian and Marcel, who were crazy about him. A celebration of his life will be held on Sunday, October 19, 2014 from 1-4 p.m. at MARQUIS GARDENS ANCASTER, 1365 Sandhill Dr., L9G 4V5. Marcella, Marla, Romina, Tanya, Rob, Mark, Jim and all the grandkids. Our sincerest condolences for the loss of Frank. We were saddened to hear of his passing.
As an original GQ #4 Yankee, who skated many miles with Frank, his enthusiasm, friendship, competitiveness and passion for life on and off the ice, "Hollywood" will be missed.

To my coolest, classiest and most handsome GQ cousin.
The world will never be the same without you. I'm happy to have seen you in good spirits last March. I continue to listen to Three Dog Night "Easy to be Hard" and think of you. Give a kiss to my Zio Lucio and Nonna Ines. Miss you xoxoxo

To Marcella and all the Pica family...my most heartfelt sympathies in the loss of your husband, father, and grandfather. Words fail me when I need them the most...they cannot express to all of you what an amazing man Franco was. Take comfort in cherishing your memories of him.
God Bless all of you,
Mary Fazzari

Marcella & Family,

I am saddened to hear of Frank's passing. I remember when he and his family arrived in Canada from Italy in the early 50's. We lived only a few houses apart and played with each other as kids. Please accept my condolences and may God bless all of you.
I wish I could be there on Sunday, but
I have problems travelling these days.
Love,

Cousin Joe Bagnato

Dear Mar and family, no words can describe how heartbroken I am in the passing of your beloved husband and father. I am so happy that I was able to see him a few weeks ago, it meant so much to me. Mar you have been his rock. He told me so on more than one occasion when I was able to speak with him on how he could not have done it without you by his side. Be content in knowing that he is watching over you always. 55yrs of friendship that I will treasure & miss. Cumpar we will ROCK N ROLL for you my friend. Tom, Marlene, Dor & Paula are right behind me.

Dear Marcella and family. I can't begin to tell you how very sad I am to have heard this dreadful news of your beloved husband and father. I am so happy to have seen him not so long ago, something I had looked forward for many months. One does not forget 55yrs of friendship. Mar you did so much for him, you were his rock. He told me over and over without you he would not have lasted as long as he did. He got tired and wanted to rest. Time will heal the void you feel and be happy in your hearts knowing that he is watching over all of you. There are no words to express how I feel by his passing, but that I am with you all at this time and always.
Love Cumar Rosanna (1)
