Honorable Frank Leroy Benser Jr.

The Honorable Frank L. Benser Jr., 67 of Bowling Green died peacefully Wednesday May 15, 2013 at his home after a brief illness. Survivors include his wife, Sharon Benser; two daughters, Kathryn E. Benser of Bowling Green and Stephanie L. Sprouse and her husband, Brecht of Scottsville; three grandchildren, Jessica Lee Adkins, Hannah Anne Sprouse and Shelby Lynne Sprouse; a sister, Bobbi Lasky and her husband, Michael of Forest Hill, MD; a brother, William R. Benser and his wife, Bernadette of Delta, PA and several nieces and nephews. A funeral service will be held Sunday May 19th at 2:00 PM in Bowling Green Baptist Church, with Rev. Bambi Willis officiating. A reception and time to greet the family will immediately follow the funeral at the Bowling Green Event Hall. A graveside service, with military honors, will be Monday May 20th at 11:00 AM in Mt. Nebo Lutheran Church, Rochelle. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Safe Harbor P.O.
