89, of Moon Township on Sunday, June 5, 2011. Born November 24, 1921 in Moon Run, PA a son of the late Victor and Anne Butya; beloved husband of the late Hilda (Sauers) Butya, father of Patricia (Jerry) Forker of Richmond, VA; grandfather of Michele Ticho and Christina Forker; great grandfather of Mackenzie Ticho; brother of the late Ann Tanis, Mary Boley, Dorothy Butya, Emily Demsher, Victor, George, Tony, Johnson, and Carl Butya. A veteran of Word War II serving in the Army in Europe. A federal customs agent at Pittsburgh International Airport, and a member of the SNPJ Club. Visitation RD COPELAND INC., 981 Brodhead Rd, Moon Township Tuesday 6-8 p.m. Private Entombment at Resurrection Cemetery. In Lieu of flowers, family suggests memorial donations to the Wounded Warrior project in his memory.
