At one time, I managed Chateau Perry Apartments in Ross Twp and before that, had lived there for a number of years. I first met Mr Capan in my first year at the apartments, when we spent time doing laundry together one rainy afternoon. I remember thinking: What a lovely man. Later, when I found out about all his accomplishments, I had even more respect for him. Always kind and gracious, he was a true gentleman. He will be missed.

My sympathies go to Frank Capan's family and friends from Grant Streets in Millvale and Pittsburgh and everywhere else; I was privileged to work with Frank in the courts in the 1970's & visited Frank and Margaret last December; my memories of those days are very special; in all those years, so many
were very lucky to know him; he had a dry sense of humor and a heart of gold; kindest regards to one and all
who valued Frank as a very special friend

To the entire Capan Family,

I knew Frank as "Pap" at McKnight Flowers. I will never forget the great times I had working there. Pap was one of the reasons that it was so enjoyable. I remember when he taught me his techniques in making fruit baskets. He was the best! He was such a hard worker and I often wandered where he got all that energy.
I'm sure he will be truly missed by all that knew him.
I'm sorry I am unable to attend the funeral home or the funeral, but my thoughts and prayers are with all of you.
May your fond memories of "Pap" keep you smiling always just as the smile that was always present on his!

Love Always,
Karen (King) Zeitler

I have and will always remember Mr. Capan with great fondness. He was instrumental in the securing of my first job out of high school. My thoughts and prayers are with his family.

To the family of Mr. Frank Capan; I am a former resident of Millvale and was just a young boy when Mr. Capan was a police officer in Millvale. I always looked up to him and respected him. I remember Mr. Capan as a very friendly and gracious man. My thoughts and prayers are with you at this time.
