FRANK CLARKE Memoriam

Published by Legacy Remembers on Mar. 24, 2017.
CLARKE Frank 1st Anniversary

In loving memory of a much loved Husband, Father, Uncle and Brother.

I thought of you today, but that is nothing new,
I thought about you yesterday and days before that too.
I think of you in silence and often speak your name,
All I have are memories and your picture in a frame.
Your memory is a keepsake from which I'll never part,
God has you in His arms, I have you in my heart.

Sorely missed by your loving wife Elizabeth

Dad, your presence we miss
Your memory is our treasure,
Remembering you always,
Forgetting you never.

Always loved by Paul and Tracey

Each of us in our own way,
Have special thoughts of you today.
No longer in our lives to share,
But in our hearts you are always there.

Always remembered by Marie, Terry, Terri, Catriona and Caoimhe.

Ours is just a simple prayer,
That God will hold you in His care.

Sadly missed and always remembered by your sister Nan and brothers Teddy, Patrick, Tony and Benny.

1st Anniversary Mass on Thursday 30th March at 7.30pm in St Columb's Church, Chapel Road.

I have just discovered this man on YouTube and his fabulous paint and the way he has taught, encouraged, and stories he tells makes even a novice like me enjoy art. It’s easy to see how he will be missed by everybody he has touched. RIP from Shaun

I was very saddened to see that Frank had passed away. I didn't want to believe it...there are so many wrong obits out there. Please know that he'll be missed. He gave me the encouragement to take up painting again after many years of just keeping my supplies boxed away. My prayers to his family. His work will continue to inspire people to paint.

You've given more than you will ever know. I LOVED watching you paint on television, you were my first teacher. You inspired so many to pick up a brush and you taught us to paint with lighthearted instruction and made it easy and fun to learn. I just started painting again after many years because of you.

God must have needed a great painter in Heaven. Your humor and easy going chats made me feel like I was right there in your living room having a visit. You will be missed.

I just found Frank's videos this year and have been absolutely binging on them. Ordered DVD's, brushes, went on a local search for paints. Frank and I have painted at least a dozen pictures together and had such fun. What a marvelous teacher. What a calm and encouraging approach to beginning to understand the beauty and joy of art. Frank, you and I will be painting together for a long time to come. I will always hear you telling me "don't overdo this now! Don't fuss too much with it." At first I did not listen to you. Now I a beginning to understand you wisdom. How I have valued our time together and will continue to value you, dear friend I never met.

I was again looking to try one of Franks painting, when I read he had passed away, I was shocked and deeply saddened . I never thought I could paint until I saw Frank on you tube and bought his brushes and his books and DVD's and then I thought I must try and you know I could paint especially with his carrot people .

I would like to pass on my condolences to his family and his friends, although I never met him he was a friend to me . RIP Frank

I was shocked to hear of franks passing. I have most of his books and dvds, and just started with his introduction to acrylics. He was an inspiration and seemed a friend, even though I had never met him. My heart goes out to his family he will be sorely missed, and we will not see his like again. Rest well my friend.
