Frank Has been my best friend all my life for well over 50 years.
They say we all die twice the first time when our last breath leaves our bodies and the second time when the last person to know you die's.
Franks memory will live on for many more years to come.
My wife named our last son after Frank.
We were living an hour outside of Lillooet in the bush wife and I and 3 kids Marg. took the train from Lillooet to Vancouver and went to Grace Hospital to have the baby while I stayed and took care of the other 3 kids.Marg. had gotten her tubes tied but still got prego ...little wiggler jumped the gap or wiggled threw the knot anyway it happened.
Frank took care of Marg he even brought her & newborn back on the train and met me and the hoard in Lillooet.
This was the kind of person Frank always way.
He was always there for me all my life....We often told each other we loved the other.
I'll see you in heaven Frank Love and Miss you terrible old friend

Frank Was Not From Surry ...
My Friendship With Frank spans 6 different decades ( over 50 years) starting in the Sixties When Frank lived with his parents and his siblings Freddy, Jerry, Phillis ( Mike & Walter Were not born yet) .They lived right beside the fire hall on 22 Ave. and Nootka Street.
I was a block and a half away on E. 21st. Ave.
Back in the late 60's there was still park gangs ...A group of us hung out at Renfrew Park and the Gang there was the Huns ..We were a little bit younger and the Huns called us F~Troop after the tv show at the time...Frank was really strong for his age one of the older kids liked to pick on us ..one time Frank got so pissed off he picked the kid up over his head and threw him against the lacrosse box ...that bully never bothered us again ...
Franks Family sold out and moved to Cloverdale and bought El Rancho Meats and Butcher shop for 2~3 years then they bought a house corner of Humphries & Vista right across from Richmond park this is where Frank started setting his Burnaby Roots , We used to hang out shooting pool and playing pinball at the Lucky 7 which was in the dollar store building besides Tommy's Market & Boomer's pool hall on Edmonds right where it bends into 6th Street ....
To get free games on pinball machine we would put the front legs on out toes then start machine when the ball would go threw the side shoot it would just hold the wire down but not go threw and the points would rack up once we got enough free games we would tilt it and take it off our toes ...Ahh the good old days .....I went to Franks celebration of life last night at Burnaby lake man there must of been al least 300 people there I left around 9 or so and there was still a ton of people there , I've never seen such a huge spread of great food and people ,,,when you made friends with frank you were friends for life and that sure showed ...
I'm gonna try and post a photo of Frank and me out camping about 50 years ago ...
RIP my buddy ...a life time of friendship ....really miss you already Bro ..Love ya forever

Uncle frank
I know I didn't get to see the family a whole lot,but when I came down you always made time to see me.
I remember the fun times when I was little staying over in shawnas room and watching Diana straighten her hair with an iron and derek and I playing outside in burnaby.
You would give me the biggest hugs and I'm going to miss those and sad that I can't get just one more.
I remember going into your room and looking at all your Marlyn moneoe stuff and how much love you had for all your grandkids.
I remember when I was little and you worked for the city and you had those giants buckets of chopped up money that looked like confetti ,don't know why I remember that but I do.
And I will always remember that smile you had when you looked and talked to me forever.
I hope your afterlife journey is peaceful and beautiful.
I love you so much uncle frank.

Death is the heartache no one can heal,
Memories are keepsakes no one can steal.
Beautiful memories are all we have left,
Of the ones we loved and will never forget.
Softly the leaves of memory fall,
Gently we gather and cherish them all.
Planted deep in memory's garden
And watered daily with tears,
Memory has a magical way
Of keeping loved ones near
R.I.P. Frank, we have and will continue to carry you in our hearts until our time comes and we cross that bridge to meet again. All our love Clay & Annelie
