Frank George Obituary

Published by Legacy Remembers on Jul. 1, 2025.
Mr. Frank Robert "Frankie" George Jr., 43, passed away on June 12, 2025, in La Mirada, California. Born on July 4, 1981, in Norristown, Pennsylvania, Frank brought light and laughter into the lives of all who knew him.

Frank grew up in Schwenksville, Pennsylvania, where he attended Perkiomen Valley School District. During his school years, he played football and began cultivating the passions that would shape his life. His academic journey was marked by a deep curiosity and drive to learn-he pursued higher education at Montgomery County Community College, Lebanon Valley College, Maricopa Community College, Glendale Community College, and Arizona State University.

A man of many interests and talents, Frank was an avid fan of the Philadelphia Eagles and Phillies. His love for sports was matched only by his enthusiasm for technology and pop culture. He had a deep appreciation for computers and gaming and was a dedicated collector of comic books and vinyl records. Known among collectors as someone who could track down even the rarest albums, Frank became a beloved figure in the online "Fallout Vinyl" community. In honor of his memory, this community created "The Frankly Fallout Giveaway," a heartfelt fundraiser to support those he left behind.

Frank's presence was larger than life-he was often described as a gentle giant with a heart full of kindness. Once you were his friend, you were his friend for life. He had an extraordinary ability to connect with people from all walks of life and made lasting impressions wherever he went.

Among those who held special places in his heart were his family and friends-but none more so than his fiancée of eight years, Christina Ronquillo. Their bond was one of unwavering love and devotion; she was truly his everything. Frank also shared a unique connection with his great nephew Jesse Merkel-their shared passion for football and the Eagles created countless cherished memories.

Frank is survived by his loving mother Ruth (Shafer) George; his older brother Matthew George; his older sister Beverly George; nieces Sarah Merkel and Victoria George; great nephew Jesse Merkel-all of Schwenksville, Pennsylvania; and grandfather Gordon Shafer of Lake Wallenpaupack, Pennsylvania. He is also remembered fondly by many aunts, uncles, cousins, great aunts, and great uncles.

He was preceded in death by his father Frank George Sr.; grandparents Robert George, Doris George, June Galensky; and great-grandparents Clinton and Sara Dunning.

Frank's warmth, humor, loyalty, and passion will be deeply missed by all who had the privilege to know him. May his memory bring comfort to those who loved him-and may we carry forward the joy he brought into our lives. A Celebration of Life will be held on July 12, 2025, from 01:00 PM to 05:00 PM at Lower Frederick Firehouse 137 Spring Mt Rd
