never a day goes by .......

Frank and John Hawley were the officers that broke me in on EPD forty-five years ago. I can remember sitting and having coffee on the 4 to Midnight shift behind what had been Parker Field and they would both tell me to just listen and you will be "OK".
Later in my career when I, John Stein, and Frank where on the "Naughty Boy" list --- getting our midnight's rest when we were all assigned to walk and would "rest" in the white shack, that at that time, was located under the viaduct north of what would be WETM today.
I had a great time talking with Frank a few years ago when I was invited to his birthday celebration at Tag's.
God rest Frank's soul and may Frank rest in peace.

Psalm 90:10 says that the days of our years are 70 years, And if because of special mightiness they are 80 years.
May the memories of the wonderful times you shared together bring a smile and joy in your heart.

Another classmate from the class of 61 has left us with a sad heart. I remember Frank in the many classes we shared and the pick-up basketball games we played. He was a great guy with a good sense of humor. May he rest in peace. Al (Steve) Costello

Frank was my good friend and a fellow Officer, he could always be depended on when things got tough and dangerous.
I was in constant contact with him by email and would send him updates every morning, I will sure miss hearing from him and I am sorry to hear of his having passed.
