Hi Frank,

Thanks for all your lessons!
I too, enjoyed being your mentee...

Thesis turned out pretty successful. I am sorry that I could not invite you to my defense.
I still remember many things that I learned from you and apply them to design everyday.

I cannot thank you enough.

Miss you a lot!

Fifteen years is about how long I've known Frank. He unselfishly shared his considerable knowledge and talent. A couple of years ago I came to him for some ideas about my landscape redo. In a few weeks he presented me with the most beautifully drawn landscape plan. Many of us were touched by his kindness.

Once, after properly introducing him to a group as Studio Master Emeritus, I added that he was one of my 'favorite people', which he was. He seemed rather surprised.

The other morning at Taliesin West I looked toward his usual park spot for that indescribable VW he drove, later toward his drafting table as I passed the studio and finally.. I looked up at the sky and it was clear and blue.

My sincere condolences go out to Ruth and his family. Frank will surely be missed by those of us who are his family of friends.

The U-Haul Team is saddened by the passing of Frank Henry, award-winning architect, teacher and Studio Master emeritus at the Frank Lloyd Wright (FLW) School of Architecture at Taliesin West. Frank was a good friend to U-Haul over the years. His tours of the U-Haul House (designed by Mr. Wright for the Price family in the 1950s) were always informative and entertaining. He was a gracious and kind man. We all loved working with him. Frank was working with our Audiovisual Department on a video version of his tour. The video is in the final stages of editing and, when completed, a copy will be presented to the Frank Lloyd Wright Foundation in Frank's honor. He will be missed.

Though Frank and I worked toward mutual goals for years, I feel that our work had only just begun. He was always so generous with his time, and passionate in his presentation. The impact of his influence is staggering. I'm lucky to count him among my mentors and will carry the work on in his name. Frank brightened my life and inspired me so much! Hugs to the Henrys and the extended Taliesin family. Let's do right by his legacy!

My wife and I had gotten to know Frank very well during our participation in helping save the David and Gladys Wright house. He had a big heart, presence and spirit. It was an honor working with him! He is dearly missed.

Frank was a dear friend of mine. Our common bond was Architecture. I enjoyed hearing his stories about the history of Architecture in Arizona. I am sorry that Frank's dream to become an Architect was never realized. I began mentoring him for the Architect's exam a few years ago. May God's Eternal love surround you as you rest in peace. My condolences to Frank's family and friends.
