Bryan, I am so sorry to hear of Frank's passing. Though we lost touch over the years, I often think of him and the impact he had on my life as a young mom returning to school. My children fondly remember visiting you and Frank in Ottawa and our trip to the museum. I am sorry I am only hearing of his passing now - and regret losing touch. Please know our family is thinking of you. Tracey

Bryan,
We have just returned from Florida and I was shocked to read that Frank had died in November. I will miss him as a friend and confidant. One of our fellow EFM buddies was asking for him because he had not heard from him and I said let me look and see if I can find anything. Now I am sad and feel sorry to only find out almost six months after the fact. I hope that you are doing well under these circumstances.
Sending sympathy, love and blessings to you. Gail

Bryan: Daniel & I are so sorry to hear of Frank's passing. You two have been such inspirations to so many, and I can only pray that even as Frank rests in peace and rises in glory, that you'll find comfort in that.

Dear Bryan, I am so sorry to hear of Frank's sudden passing. I often kept
wondering how you both were doing as I had not heard from Frank in quite a while. I will miss him dearly as we had so many years teaching at Noranda Business College----we taught day classes and also night classes. We had so much fun and we kept in touch all those years ago.
Dale and I remembered your visit to our home here in Kamloops and that lovely dinner in your Ottawa condo.
Bryan would you get in touch with me when you are able to. If you need some info just let me know.
You and Frank are in my thoughts and prayers--please accept my deepest sympathy.
Lovingly,
Jane

We were very saddened when we heard of Frank's death. We first met Frank and Bryan in Croatia. He was a delight. He had so much to offer the world and he gave to everyone.
We will miss many things about Frank, his graciousness as a host, his quest for knowledge, his zest for life, and, especially his letters. He was an inspiration to us all. Our condolences to Bryan and to all Frank's family and friends. The "Cliffe" will never be the same.

I know this is a very sad time for you, Bryan. You may recall Frank was a student of mine decades ago in Noranda. He came through some very difficult times and no doubt some of these experiences contributed to making him a good teacher. In time Frank and I taught together in Hull. I remember visiting you two at your apartment some time back and I was delighted to see him so happy and content. My deepest sympathy to you and all Frank's family.

I'm saddened to learn of Franks passing. Frank married my husband and I this summer, he was wonderful. Our ceremony was beautiful because of him. I picked Frank because of his profile picture, he had kind eyes and that spoke to me. I did not know Frank long or well but am happy that he was a part of our special day. My condolences to his family and loved ones.

Dear Uncle Bryan,
We have lost a wise and wonderful man. I can only imagine how you will miss him. I will cherish Frank's humour, his acceptance and his very positive outlook on life. More than that, I will cherish those times I spent with the two of you, whether in Calgary over dinner, at the Wakefield cabin, the lanais in Hawaii or your various homes in Ottawa and Palm Springs.
I wish I could be with you now to give you a big hug and to chuckle at one of Frank's witticism's.
Instead, thinking of you and sending love from Qatar.
Love you!
Connie

Bryan: I was ever so sorry to learn of Frank's passing. He was a wonderful man, a great colleague, and, according to many of his students at Fleming, an inspiring professor. He will be missed by everyone whose life he touched. My heart goes out to you.

I met Frank when he was teaching at the Noranda Business College in 1966. I remember having some heated discussions with him, although he taught me I was 3 years older. I called him Mr. Kajfes on school grounds and then I was accepting his Mr. Savage elsewhere as a joke. My sympathies go to his family. He was a nice man.

Bryan, I was saddened to hear of Frank's passing. I have many fond memories of Frank's often humorous resistance to fitness training. He was quite skilled at moaning as he lifted those 2lb weights, with hopes that his groaning would halt the "torture"...which never really worked, but we certainly had a fun time together. My heart goes out to you Bryan. He will be dearly missed.

Dear Bryan,
I was so saddened when I heard the news of Frank's passing. If you recall, he was a treasured friend and a great mentor to me for several years.
My most sincere condolences to you during this difficult time, Bryan. May you find comfort in reminiscing of all the wonderful times you shared with Frank - your worldly travels, your wonderful parties....He was a great man. Hugs.
