Frank LaMusga Obituary

LaMusga, Frank R. age 79, of Chisago City, formerly of Browerville, Minnesota, died Sunday, January 13, 2008. Frank was the proud owner/ operator of Tolerance Masters Inc., a precision machine shop in Minneapolis. He made many parts for the airlines, medical equipment and the space program. Frank enjoyed every day spent at the shop. He always said "he quit working when he started his own shop" which he began in the late 1950's and continued until his retirement in 1994. He always looked forward to finding ways to help his friends and family. He was a member of the Zuhrah Shriners. He was preceded in death by his parents, Frank and Mary (Baron); brothers, Joseph, Jerome, Roland. He will be deeply missed by those who knew and loved him including his beloved wife of 34 years, Dorothea; former wife and mother of their three sons, Alice Swanson; sons, Wayne (Jane), Warren (Desiree), Wallace (Kim); step-daughter, Karen (Lawrence) Hiles; eight grandchildren; one great- granddaughter; siblings, Rosina Chaffee, Mary Poveda, Anthony, Edward (Penny), Romaine; many nieces, nephews, and friends. A celebration of his life will be held at 11:00 AM Friday, January 18, 2008 at Faith Lutheran Church, 886 North Shore Drive, Forest Lake. While most of us did not know Frank, his legacy can be seen through his family and friends. The impact he had on those close to him is a true testimony to his character and life. Our prayers go out to his family from all of the Brothers of Anoka Lodge.

We did not know Frank but are very close to Wayne and Jane. I have heard many story of Frank and know how close Wayne was to him. Words may not be able to comfort you at this time but rest assured your dad touch many, even those who didn’t know him, by that which he instilled in you. Our hearts go out to you during this difficult time and remember there is comfort knowing that your father is resting in the loving arms of God.
